Cottages on the Bakhmaro road come in various formats: a family mini-hotel, a standalone cottage by a stream, a timber house with a belvedere terrace. All of them sit within a natural setting — in the forest, on a riverbank, or at the end of a valley.

The most popular 'log cottages' — built from timber in traditional style — are found in the middle and upper sections of the Bakhmaro road. These cottages are typically family-run — parents receive guests, while a son or daughter sometimes acts as a hiking or fishing guide.

A night in these cottages is a different dimension of nature: sounds you cannot hear in a city — the creak of an old tree, the murmur of the Bzhuzha, the cry of a night bird. And when the night falls, the stars — in many of these spots — fill a cold open sky.
